How much does Fleet boats consume?

Modified on 2025-03-12

The boat model, the driven speed, the weather and the load all affect the consumption of the boat. Hourly consumption at cruising speed (about 20 knots) is about 12-15l for 54 Crosses, 15-18l for 57 Crosses and 18-21l for 62 Crosses. These numbers are at the ideal cruising speed in good conditions. Consumption per nautical mile is about 0.6-1l depending on the boat. However, few ride at the cruising speed continuously for very long. Departures and arrivals take a relatively long time and then at a speed of 5 knots the boats consume only about 5 liters per hour. The amount of fuel purchased by users on a normal day trip has been around 20€-40€.
