Boating with children

Modified on 2025-03-13

Boating is always a fun and adventurous adventure, but it is often said that people boat less when children are born into the family. Sure, kids bring their own twists to the journey, but you will also have many happy moments and make beautiful memories together.

In general, when heading boating with children and especially with babies, it is advisable to wear the vest well in advance and not to put the life vest on at the dock. It is a good idea to sit as far back as possible with the children as there will be fewer bounces. It is also a good idea to use a canopy (all Fleet boats have canopies) as a sunscreen. For the little ones in the family, you should buy your own life jackets that fit as good as possible.
